For developing an AI assistant enabling intuitive interaction with digital applications
Anyone creating a digital presentation for the first time without knowing the software needs patience – it takes time to master all the functions and steps. Gurkirat Singh Khinda and Nguyen Kim Bao Chu thought this shouldn’t be necessary, so they developed an AI called LAMbo to support users during the learning process. The system combines a chatbot with software that recognizes on-screen interface elements and programs that can automatically perform actions. Unlike traditional tutorials, the software can not only explain tasks but also carry them out autonomously. The young researchers’ system demonstrates how AI-based assistants can enhance digital accessibility – for example, in schools or for people with disabilities.
